Thread: NA rear brake calipers stuck.

  1. #1

Default NA rear brake calipers stuck.

    Is this common?

Went to change the brakes and tried to compress the piston with a heavy duty C-clamp... didn't budge... NEITHER ONE!

Ive done everything except remove the hand brake from the unit (no the brake is not engaged). Anyone have tips?

Real common……C clamps never work on the rear.

Put away the C-clamp and find some allen wrenches.

Hopefully no damage done. Retract the piston with Allen screw, as mentioned above.

It is where the ABS sensor would go.
