If you can read this, you're probably fine, but if anyone needs help with anything, let me know. Obviously, I'm in Dallas (white Rock area), but we have a truck and a Subaru, so I can help if anyone has a serious need.
I'm running pretty low on beer... Fortunately the threat of a generator has kept my power on...

Woke up and saw the ice, said no to work...said yes to the Jeep and driving over stuff. The roads aren't frozen down here quite yet, but the are very slushy.

Just made a run to loan the generator to a friend whose power is still out. Subaru FTW! The main roads aren't too bad, but the Subie was terrific, even on the bad spots.

Power is still on over here, just took fresh brownies out of the oven, and we've got enough beer to last the weekend.

See you guys when it thaws...

Drove into work from Rowlett to Addison because my fios router died last nightt when power was going on and off. Not too bad. The car kept scraping the ice build up between the ruts in the road. Did lose it once going 50 mph but recovered nicely. It is going to be worse tomorrow when all that slush freezes tonight!

Our apartment complex looks like a war zone. We came through fine. Lost power for about 8 hours but nothing else.
