Yeah, I should not have gone outside at lunch.
Is it just me, or is everyone suddenly possessed with the urge to leave work and go drive some twisty roads with the top down for then next 3-4 hours??? I really hope the true winter weather is over, because I think I've already turned the corner mentally. Beautiful day.
OK, back to giving 6-weeks exams...

I took the long way home woth the top down... and by long way I mean I drove the opposite way for about an hour.
I hope it holds out tomorrow. I'm taking it to work to rotate my tires and do an alignment. Will post up alignment sheet for the horror. I went outside today and it was a really pleasant temperature, but it was super windy, so that kind of killed it. I definitely wished I had driven the Miata today though. I would have gone for a drive after I got home, but alas, it was valentine's day...
Wanna throw mine up on the alignment rack too, see how bad it is?![]()

I had the top down on the way in and the way home yesterday. Wind proof jacket FTW!

I opened the sunroof on the mini...then I worried it would break and cost lots of money so I closed it.

Huh, the alignment was surprisingly okayish. I've never done a double wishbone alignment before, so I spent a good twenty minutes in the back trying to find the correct spot for the cams so I could get the correct camber AND toe at the same time. My bushings back there are definitely shot, when I loosened the cams, you could wiggle the control arms waaaaaay too much by hand. Time for Prothane! I forgot to bring the sheet home, but I generally went with Miq's specs from here: http://www.miata.net/garage/align.html
Drove twisties for NINE hours today. From San Marcos to Llano to Dallas with as many miles as possible on dirt roads.
