I have my stock flywheel back from being shaved/lightened.

My bathroom scale says it weighs15.3 lbs.
I didn't get a before-weight, but I see some posts on the web that indicate the stocker weights around 18 lbs. So, I shaved off about 3 lbs.
I paid $30 for the machining, so it comes to $10 per pound of rotating mass reduction. That's actually pretty good, compared to my days with LSx performance weight reductions.
It's a better value than the aftermarket flywheels costing several hundred dollars to shave off 8 to 10 lbs.
If I pull this out again later down the road, I'll see if I can cut out another couple of pounds with additional strategic shaving and back-cutting :)
I'll be removing the drive train on my parts-car, freshening the seals/gaskets, and putting the motor into my daily Miata. Decent weather this weekend to do the work.
