Default WTB: Track wheels and tires for 2013 NC

i am looking to buy some different wheels and tires for my 2013 NC. I prefer 9-inch wide wheels, not interested in r-comp or race tires. i need tires that will get me the 3.5 hours each way to and from ECR, probably go with 255 rivals or RS3s. Just wheels is fine too. i plan to run these all the time rather than the stock wheels. I prefer black, but for a deal could use silver. No chrome, no curb rash. Anyone got anything or know where I can find some nice used wheels?

Its pretty hard to find any smokin deals on a wheel as desirable as what you're shopping for. Every NC owner, S2K, 350Z, RX8, etc. that wants to track or autox runs that size.

For pure value, ordering a brand new set of TRM C3's in silver at $100/ea is pretty hard to beat. There are some lighter options, but they cost $$. Buy a wheel/tire package from Tire Rack (use the link on this forum!) and they come all nice and balanced, mounted, ready to go for a great price. A quick tape-off and black paint or plasti-dip will have you set, and should come in around $1000. Also, don't hold your breath for RS3's if they arent in stock.

If you MUST have something fancier, check the m.net classifieds.
    Good luck!

those TRM C3's in 17x9 are 164 each, but that is probably what I'll end up with. i had the 15x9 ones on my turbo NA and never had any issues other than Trey trolling me for not buying the fancy wheels.

Ouch, a bit more than last time I checked. They sometimes sell the silver ones cheaper than the rest, but I might have been thinking of the 15x9's. If you can find the Kosei K1-TS for a cheap deal, they are great wheels.

And these are rare, no longer made, so extra cool factor, plus Rivals.

shipping on those kills the deal, woudl be nearly $60 per wheel. i guess ill just go with the TRM wheels. you are right on the RS3s, i looked a week ago and they were available and now they are no where to be found. whats the deal with that? race season?

No longer being produced, I hear. Todd Eady can supposedly still lay hands on a few. I've shipped wheels for $100/set bare. Even at $150, its reasonable. Remember that there is always Greyhound freight.

the tr motorsport wheels were about $40 a wheel less last year late summer. I ALMOST bought a pair for the MS3 for the front. :)

Then I blame YOU for not supporting the lower pricing, forcing the increase and raising the spectre of communism in the western hemisphere again.

I got mine for $129 each... I think the pricing is "highly variable"
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

Call Rudy at TR and ask him for whatever clearance deal he has. Mention Dfwmiata.com
