What year Miata?
On my NA, I picked up a set of Rancho shock boots at a 4x4 shop for 3 quid a piece.
Ordered AGX shocks off an ebay vendor today - $290 hard earned dollars (gulp). I've noticed a lot of people have got aftermarket boots and put the OEM bump stop on them. Any problems with doing this? It does save almost $100 on new OEM boots! (Mine resemble black spaghetti...)

Man! I didn't realize there was a cheaper substitute for the factory part. I feel like I got ripped off now. The stock ones are sooo expensive.

The OEM shock boots for NA's have the bump-stops as part of the boot. The bump-stops will get old and crunchy with age. You'll be happy you sprung for the new ones!![]()
If it makes you feel better the bump stop is integrated in the boot on our NA cars, and the bump stops can get crusty with age!![]()
I know that make me feel better!![]()
Why? Was that a funny? :POriginally Posted by onething
