Default FS: Used FCM NA/NB custom suspension

I bought this with the intention of building my 96 into a sweet track/autox car, but plans have changed. This is a custom-ordered Fat Cat Motorsports Biltstein non-adjustable suspension setup with 700/400 Eibach springs and GC sleeves/perches. Built for a 99 Sport in STR trim. The catch is that the front shocks were damaged in a curb-locating incident by the previous owner. One front shock is definitely bad, will need replacement. The spring/perch/sleeve/bumpstop and tophat are all reusable, but the shock body is toast. The other front shock has a dent on the body but is otherwise intact, not leaking and appears to work. The conventional wisdom is that you would still want to rebuild/replace after a major hit, and it might be tough to match the other side to this one as-is, but its conceivable that someone on a budget could make-do with only one new shock up front, at least for the short-term.

The rears are fine, no damage, no leaks, exactly as they should be.

I looked into having an FCM rebuild/replacement on the fronts, and was quoted $400-600 depending on the rebuild-ability of the still-working shock. This would include any new custom valving the buyer desired and some technology upgrades implemented since these were made. Another option is to replace the front Biltsteins with some other shock, either custom-valved HD's, Konis or whatever. MER has a set of new Biltsteins valved for 700 lb springs at $250 for the pair, which was my plan. Whatever route you choose, you're getting a high-quality and proven suspension setup that is run by lots of drivers. This setup was over $3k new, and is still less than half that even if you go the FCM route.

Looks like these, but with red springs:
