    Default Hola from Oklahoma

    Hi everybody!

Miata owner from Tulsa, Ok that found out about this site from gslblueninersomething (exocet guy). Thought I'd hop on to say hi and ask a few questions about DFW vendors. Tulsa is...um...lacking....

Welcome. Tulsa may be lacking, but at least you have Hallett!

Welcome, have fun with your Miata. Do you have spare bedrooms and enough room to park a tow rig?

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

    Thanks for the welcome!
    SixAce,
I do have Hallett that's true! It's nice to be able to leave the house at 6 and be there by 6:30. Some friends and I will be participating in the World Racing League (new crap can league) @ Hallett in October. Exciting to get longer than 30 minute stints on track and get a nice rhythm going!

    Cone-cerned,
Unforunately there is no room for a tow rig in the front of the house. The road is kinda narrow and curved. When I came back from Bluegs03's house, I parked in the front lawn (no curbs) until I could decided what to do with it the next day!

I'm starting to get a collection of Miatas. I started with an MSM, then bought an 03 last year to be the "race car". Then found Blue's tub. So I have 2.5 miatas at my house. They are multiplying!! The goal is to cage the tub and transfer the 03 guts to the tub, I think. Or use the 03 car as the race car and turn the tub into my simulator rig. I'm having trouble convincing the wife that moving 1/4 of a car into the computer room is a good idea!! LOL

I think having a 1/4th miata on lockable roller dollies would be incredible for sim racing. Plus if you have the wheels on the bottom you could move it around so it wouldnt have to stay in the computer room! Idk that idea just sounds so cool to me, sitting in a miata with a miata dash racing a miata on screen. It just sounds right! It might be cheaper than prepping the shell for racing too, another wife convincing point?
