Windshield wiper cowl

So I found that I have a crack in my windshield wiper cowl (http://www.gomiata.com/genuine-mazda...wl-grille.html), and I went online to see how much it would cost to get a new one. Well it turns out these things are absurdly expensive. What are your opinions on this thing? Does it matter if I run with a crack in it (it's far on the passenger side close to the last screw)? Do you think a quick plastic weld repair would do the job?

It's $148 at MazdaSpeed. Go autocross twice and register for Mazdaspeed. Or check out the used parts vendors, The Parts Group, etc ...

hooooooooooooooooooooolyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiit if I had known how expensive these things were I would have immediately called the windshield company back and had them buy me a new one since they broke it while installing the windshield.
