Whats the in car fitment like? Do you have to massage the trans tunnel etc?
Have a matched set of Corbeau Forza 2 FIA-approved race seats in good condition, mounted to NA sliders/brackets. These are drop-in ready for any NA/NB. They are in very good condition overall, a few small tears on the backside of the seats and slight fading, so they look a bit more greyish than black, but still attractive and definitely not trashed. Lower seat cushions are removable, and they have slots for 5/6 point harness, including submarine straps.
This is a matched set, and I would guess that these seats can work for as large as a 38-40 waist snugly. Seem about ideal for 32-36. I am a 34 and have some room to move. Side bolstering is very good, so you wont be sliding around! Not sure of the weight, but definitely lighter than stock, even on oem rails.
Seats are out of the car and ready to install. You are welcome to test-fit if you like. I can bring them to Kellers with advanced notice. Will post pics tonight.
Asking $400/pair, $225 each. Will deliver 20 mile radius.

Nope, trans tunnel was fine. Very snug on the outside headrest, but did not damage door panel or require trimming. 97 NA's with the larger door pad could possibly hasve some issue depending on seat height/rake if you used aftermarket rails, but not a problem on the current rails.

These are tempting. I'd want to do a test fit for me and the car, but I'm picking up my car at the Propwash Party. If you still have them after that I'll come see you.

OK. I'm happy to bolt one back into an NA and run it up to Keller's if you ever make it this way.

:) it has been a while, but more than worth the wait. I think he said he might maybe could possibly be done this weekend. I figure giving him an extra 2 weeks should get'r done. The propwash party just so happens to be my birthday as well, an eye-melting green car sounds like a great way to celebrate!

I should have grabbed them. How tall are you and how was the headroom with a helmet realative to the roll bar? I'm leaning towards Forza Sports at the moment...

I'm 5'9", and I was able to to clear a broomstick test in my NC in my old Corbeau FX Pro with the cushion removed, but I ran without sliders. These were a bit tall for me in the NA, but they were just bolted to factory brackets/sliders, and could have been 2-3" lower with aftermarket lowering brackets. Plenty low for roll bar/helmet clearance.

Thanks. I just went to check dimensions on Corbeau's site and made the mistake of looking at the Sprint. It has a 1.5" base height, which is 1.5" lower than the Forza Sport. It looks much more comfortable too... the issue (other than it's $779 cost) is it is 23.5" wide at the shoulders... can you trim a kevlar seat?

I think you can trim anything with the right cutoff wheel. Not sure if that will void any FIA certification.

I know it can be cut, but I dont know what happens to kevlar if you cut it. Didn't know if it can continue to splinter/fray etc. Or if the resin will keep it in tact. In any event, I found a pic of one installed in a UK NB, so it should fit without too much headache...
