Seems like it came up before, but there was an issue. Can't remember the problem, but one I can immediately see is the houses and noise complaints. Maybe Andy Cost will chime in with info.
Driving around at lunch today, I drove by Williams stadium in Garland. The site is concrete, no poles, and appears to be about about the size of the bus lot at TMS. Maybe a little narrower.
Has anyone ever talked to GISD about using this as a potential site?

Not sure off the top of my head. It is only 250' wide, which makes it very similar to Resistol, which everyone hated.
Edit: looks to be about 250'x1000', while Resistol is 200'x500', definitely more usable space. Certainly would be worth a try if we can get it.

I was figuring 300x1000.
For comparison, TMS is 460x1000.
What is Pennington?

Allen ISD has a huge lot it looks like they will not be using for a few years.![]()
I'll be here all week, try the veal.
Allen's lot is full of islands and light poles. Not autocross friendly at all.

Definitely the most entertaining auto-related site on the internets. All y'all should do a couple video podcasts... you might get picked up by Velocity TV. It would certainly be better that the U.S. version of Top Gear. I'll volunteer as a gaffer.
