91 Miata starts but stalls after a couple minutes

I have a 91 Miata and last week I drove her 10 mile and she started hesitating and then stalled out. Before it stalled out I tried giving it gas and the car was still on but would not accelerate. Now it will start and after 2 minutes it will stall out. I change the fuel pump and it still does the same. However I did not change the electrical wiring to the fuel pump. The spark plugs and wires are good, I changed the fuel filter not even a yr ago. I don't want to go dumping money in parts that I don't need to, but I have get the car running. Just wondering if any one else has had this problem?

Check the coils and CAS. Have you pulled the engine codes?
