Engineering problem
I have a 10x12 wood Tuff shed from Home Depot that I bought a few years ago. It was built on a slight incline and the shed was put on concrete blocks which are aligned around the perimeter in 6 places and at least one location in the middle. The blocks have sunk into the ground causing the door to not open fully. I need to raise the shed up enought to get more blocks underneath. Has anyone done this? Any tips would be appreciated. I was thinking about jacking up the back putting more blocks in the middle first so I could easily tip the shed back to put the blocks on the uphill side then go back to jack up the downhill side to put the blocks in the back. Also the shed has the galvanized steel frame that sets on the blocks.

I was thinking about buying or borrowing a Harbor Freight farm jack since I have steel frame on the bottom. I believe my neighbor has access to one.

Don't you have a kid? Get him to do the heavy work while you slide the blocks in place.
I have a farm jack you can borrow.

How much do you need to move it? Would driving shims in between the blocks and the building get you there?

^If you do shim it, I'd use something synthetic like Trex decking or such.

When the foundation 'crew' leveled my house, they were using simple bottle jacks. not sure if digging around those supports is more work but they made it look simple.

We recently jacked a significant portion of my house to replace a water damaged footer... My 2 ton harbor freight ultra-low jack performed admirably...

I am not too worried about the ones on the outside. Its those pesky supports in the middle under the floor that will be more challenging.
