Here's an interesting link, which documents where various WD cars are now. Disappointingly, they claim the on-air buyers are a ruse, and the cars are actually sold via eBay, Autotrader, etc.

SPOILER ALERT - the RX7 from tonight's show is at the bottom of the page.

After seeing that rx7 I can confirm there is no car god.
2001 SE BRG Miata #2026, Aka: The Green Slug
.
Didn't General Default say he wanted another RX-7?
1995 M Edition
Never watched Wheeler Dealers but will try to catch the show if it is on the internet.
Not crazy about the orange wheels on a RX-7. Will have to wait to see what they do to the car.
Ok saw the other post with the pictures of the finished car.
Think I would have done something different.
Not just this show. But Gas Monkey Garage is just as full of lies. Both their purchase and sells are often completely fabricated. Hot Rod recently exposed their purchase of the two "pre production" Firebirds found in a garage and showed where they were for sale on ebay the year before.

Next, you will tell us there is no Easter bunny.

For 10K good old American dollars, I will take that Rx7 before they put that ugly wheels and sticker job it. It was nothing wrong with that car! Just drive it and enjoy it. It looked pretty sorted already to begin with.
