Any idea what time trial course?
Next weekend, the Maverick Region of the Porsche Club of America will be at Mineral Wells Airport hosting a time trial on Saturday 6/7 and an autocross on Sunday 6/8. If you have not tried one of their Mineral Wells time trials, then you should. Third and fourth gear action on a course that flows like a road course rather than an autocross course. More info and registration link at http://mav.pca.org/Events/AX.asp.
Do you have to join their club? Do they still have the requirement that only club instructors can do ride alongs?
No membership required. Instructor must be one of the two people in the car.
We will be running Time Trial course #1, As Jerrett said, membership in PCA is not required. The event is open to all manufactures makes of cars. And instructors, (the person in a car not driving) do not need to be PCA members.

What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
