FS: Kosei Racing K1-TS 17x7, 5x114.3 wheels with excellent tires, NC

Picked up a set of Kosei K1-TS wheels that I thought were 5x100 for my Subaru, but they are actually 5x114.3. They have some excellent condition 225/45-17 performance a/s tires with 9/32nd tread depth. Includes original center caps.

Wheels are in excellent shape with minimal scratches, no bends, cracks, curb rash, etc. Anthracite grey.

I'm sorry our deal didn't work out this morning. I had full intentions of buying your wheels & tires with cash in hand. However, upon further examination of your wheel/tire set, I noticed your center caps are heavily chipped and there was curb rash on basically every wheel. Additionally, there was no way to verify that they were 50 offset. These wheels are produced in 3 offset sizes in 17x7. Also, they were not balanced and not ready to mount on my NC. I was quoted $25 a tire by the Goodyear store we met at to balance the wheels and install my existing TPMS (since not included in your set). I was not comfortable spending $550 on a set of used wheels with used tires (no warranty) and faded center caps.

You just bought these off Craigslist recently for $275 and luckily your able to make a good profit. I am not against that as everyone has to make a living and it's a seller's market. If you'd like me to mail you $10 to compensate for your gas I will gladly do so. GLWS

Also, I had asked you to please text me when you are close. You sent me text saying you'll be there in 3 minutes. I don't know how you expect me to be ready and there in 3 minutes. We had agreed to meet 8ish, not a definite time. Also, nowhere in our communication did I agree to paying $450. I offered $375 and you declined saying the price was firm. I offered $400 cash, on the spot this morning, after noticing things I was unaware of initially. Cash talks and pictures don't do justice.

Nowhere in the pictures you sent me are the deep scratches/chips on the center caps visible. Also, the Goodyear guy acknowledged that the wheels had weights on them from before, but he did not verify that they were balanced. Having weights on wheels and them actually being balanced are different things. Lastly, as you may recall, I did check the insides of the wheels to check for any stampings of offset. However, I did not see them and since you were in such a rush I could not fully analyze them. I did notice they said 5x114.3 very clearly, a stamp you must have not seen since you posted you bought these wheels because you "thought [they] were 5x100". Obviously, you saw that they were still a steal for the price and grabbed them to sell. I'm sure you will be able to get your asking on price on these wheels from an honest, ethical, and courageous person while making your desired profit. You deserve it for the inconvenience I caused you.

For the record, please point out the deep curb rash on every wheel. Less than half price for quality racing wheels is a bargain.
