FS: used glass window NB softtop on NB frame

I bought this for a project, but opted to stick with plastic window instead. This is a good condition black NB glass window top on a correct NB frame. It had a separating seam which I patched with both a vinyl patch inside and a special product called "Black Hole Patch" on the outside, which makes it virtually invisible from more than a foot or two away and is a very permanent solution. If you have a worn-out, faded, cracked or torn softop or just want a glass/defroster window top that doesn't require unzipping or careful window folding, this is for you. Includes a good rain rail.

Does not include latches, as you simply reuse your existing latches. If you don't have any, we can locate some from TDR pretty cheaply.
I am willing to install as well for $50 more.

Will the frame work on an NA as well? I have a spare top on frame, and the plastic is good but has come separated at the stitching on the apron. A glass top would be good on the red car; its soft top is toast.

Yes, it will bolt right into any NA/NB. The difference in the NB frame is a spring that helps deal with the added weight of the glass window. That's why glass window retrofits always suck on NA frames. This will behave exactly as it would on an NB.

I've got an NA top on frame (off of the'97). The plastic window seam stitching failed at the bottom but is otherwise in very good shape. I'm sure it can be repaired easily enough.
