Not sure what infrastrucure work from 5 years ago has to do with current smartphone hardware, but thanks. My Dad has been with Motorola/Freescale since 1975 in semiconductor packaging and he uses moto phones.

Since Google bought Motorola mobility, it has drastically changed. Motorola has been ahead in mobile industry since the first dual core Atrix but it was always neglected and had no marketing. I had an issue with the phone and they sent me a new one and told me to ship the other one back once I transfer all my data, all shipping paid. I don't even remember last time I restarted my phone and there was barely any junk apps. IMHO, it's the best android phone if you don't use gimmicky apps made by Sadsung and Snapple.

A couple of smart phone-aphobe friends picked up a pair of G2's several months ago. One deciding factor was the bright and clear screen. The OLED Samsung screens aren't bright enough for me which hampers reading black text on white backgrounds. I'll shoot em an email and see how they're coming along.
