    Default Who knew?

Is anyone aware that NA doors(maybe others) are some sort of plastic over metal weirdness?

I have owned and wrenched on two NA's and an NC...had no idea...

Strange...looks like it rusted between the door skin and paint.

Who knew? No one. That's not normal. That's why no one knew.

There is a 2-3mm layer of plastic(?) on the door. The plastic was cracked by some a-holes door swinging wide. Pieces broke out and rust set in while the Warthog was waiting for me to get around to work on her.

That's not stock. That door has been stripped and bodyworked. And not all that well.

Thanks for all the knowledge, fellas. So, I guess a new door is in my future.
