    Even with all the latches open the top is still hooked to the car. (Note the shinny aluminum)

    POS, assuming that bottom screw holding on the metal strap is a hex or other odd-ball type, then I think this will be a good deterrent. Not 100%, but I think it will work for your needs.

    The hose clamps should make good fodder for EKK's friends.

    Yep the newer NB's use Torx heads on the top stuff. I'm just trying to deter the crime of opportunity type thieves.

    I was headed south on I-35 in northern OK today and spotted her headed north, I think. There aren't too many of us with hardtop Vivids around, so chances are pretty good it was her.
