Default Thinking about upgrading my air compressor

Get rid of the jack-hammer, for a pocka-pocka-pocka pump!

What say ye' beeches? Any experience?

Unless you are doing some really heavy-duty air tool work, that looks like overkill.
    This seems much more TCB

And if you really do want that powerful of a compressor, this is almost the same price and significantly more HP/SCFM

The place I bought last year came with a 60 gallon vertical / single stage pump / 135 PSI compressor...

If you're really planning to start using air tools a lot, it's the way to go... the large tank gives you a lot of reserve...

Another Data Point - Heck some of the new battery powered tools can do pretty much anything an air tool can do. (Settle down OZMDD)

I got Ryobi's new 1/2 Impact and was able to bust off the 1-1/4 nuts for the radius arms on my 20 year old ford without any drama. Plus It has yet to meet a lug nut it can't break loose.

Good point, but its usually more about the extended duration of use than the power. IE, sanding, die grinder, paint sprayer, etc. are all much more efficient with a phat compressor.

True story! Sammmy may be planning to repaint the LE! I think that may be the only thing he hasn't done or replaced on the Cheater car.

What is the specs on the one you are looking at I'll ask the "Pawn King" if he has anything.

I have a HF 60g 220v compressor that I have had zero problems with in almost 6 years of ownership. I picked it up with a 25% off coupon when it was already on sale for $400. No regrets.

This one? It's the only 60g I see on their site.

I think they used to make a 60g single stage, but now it looks like they only do the 60 in 2-stage.
