Thread: NC with water in the passenger floor but rear drains are open.

Default NC with water in the passenger floor but rear drains are open.

Before I left on vacation last Thursday I found the passenger floor with about a half inch of water after Wednesday night's heavy rain.
I had just ran the trombone brush through both rear drain tubes a week prior and the trunk was dry.
Any way I sponged it out headed to Colorado with the 75 MPH wind starting the drying out process.
So where else could it come from?

Door drains clear? Rubber sealing around windows correctly? Any drains in the cowling?

There are drains in the cowl. They are generaly big and hard to clog. The water could have breached the A/C vent fan intake and come inside.

All of the windows were closed and the top secured and tight.
I have not found the front drains if there are some in the NC like the NA I had but will continue to look.

Check your floor plugs by looking under the car. Also, check the antenna. Damn thing took me over a year to isolate as the water source. Yes, it is possible for water to migrate to the floor in front in the NC.
