    Default Help on a used Miata

    I found it on auto trader, I think I can get it for cheap. Does anybody know anything about the car or the seller? If possible, when I get a chance to go look at it, can someone who knows what to look for come with me, or can you tell me what to look for. Thanks

    It's definitely been repainted at some time in its life - the rocker panels aren't black.

    Still, looks pretty good for $2k from that picture. Definitely worth checking out, if it's got a clean title.

    The mis-matched wheels makes me think one end or the other has been crunched badly in its lifetime. That would explain the fresh looking paint too. Just a thought.

    Considering that 4 forged piston and rods are $1200-1300, this looks like a bargain....

    I'd offer them 1500 or less and if they don't take it walk away and keep looking.. .I would bet they don't have more than a 1000 in the car. It probably came from the auction.
