Thread: FS: AST 3000 coilovers, 700F/450R, low miles, NA and NB fitment

Default FS: AST 3000 coilovers, 700F/450R, low miles, NA and NB fitment

    PRICE DROP $1100

For sale: AST 3000 coilovers with around 10k miles
These are a non-adjustable 4100 with multiple c-clip positions to change spring perch height instead of a threaded body (see pictures). Think of this as a non adjustable XIDA. I haven't missed the rebound adjustability at all. A good bit of development was done at AST to get the damping right and I've found it great for street, autocross and track.

The front coilovers come with 700 lb/in Hypercoil springs. The rear springs are 450 lb/in Hypercoils with an AST tender spring. The coilovers use your stock top hats.

I'm asking $1300. Let me know if you have any questions.

I cannot see the suspension at all in those pics. Do you have some with the wheels removed?

If any one is interested in seeing how this suspension handles please PM me. I will send you JJ's address and directions on where to find the extra keys to his Miata.

The car appears to be lopsided in the first picture. Is it always that way? The second picture looks like the car is quite slow. Is this normal for those shocks? Do you have any internal photos?

As in colonoscopy? That's rather personal, isn't it.

If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Seriously, now that we've jacked this thread, Miatamoto know shis stuff and always has excellent parts on his cars. This is a bargain.

I have driven on these at ecr with 200TW. They are no HVT6000 but they are better then everything else in that price range (new or used). Would take them over all the other pos "fully adjustable" BS miata shops are selling. If HVT revealed them when they came from Holland they are worth it even more.

PRICE DROP $1100. Come and get them.

I am missing these shocks already. The S2000 I bought came with KW V3s (double adjustable, rebound and compression separately) and I would trade them in a heartbeat for well valved monotube shocks like the ones I'm selling.
