    9th autocross of the year: TX Region SCCA Solo #9 - Sunday, November 16, 2014

    Where? TMS Bus Lot in Fort Worth, TX.

    Event #9 Schedule:

    •Registration & Tech Inspection: 7:30am - 8:30am (PLEASE DON’T BE LATE)
    (If you are new to TX Region SCCA events, please be AT THE SITE by 7:30am)

    •Course opens: 8:00am (approx.)

    •Novice Walkthru: 8:30am (approx.)

    •MANDATORY Drivers Meeting: 9:00am (approx.)

    •First Runs Start 9:30am (Approx.)

    •Trophies (and BEER ) approx. 30 minutes after conclusion of runs. (approx. 3:30 PM)

    Online Registration closes Friday night, November 14th at 11:59pm.

    **Walk up registrations ARE allowed on site but will be charged an additional $5.

    **CREDIT CARDS CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED ONSITE!!

    I couldn't find it in the rule book. Are snow chains legal in street class if they are on 200 UTQC tires?

    No you are limited to 200 TW cables & they must be purchased from tire rack.....

    Info regarding TX Region Solo event #9 on Sunday, November 16th:

    Sunday’s Weather Outlook:

    At this moment, no freezing temperatures are predicted in the DFW area until 8pm tomorrow evening. There is however, a slight chance for rain and a predicted wind-chill between 24 to 19 degrees. Please prepare yourself & the items you are bringing to the event for a wet, cold day.
    Our events run “rain or shine”. Please bring appropriate jackets & such for yourself. In addition, keep in mind those items in your Paddock area need to be ready for wet weather, too. Please make certain that EZUps and tents are securely weighted for windy weather and unable to come loose & possibly damage someone’s car or tow vehicle. If severe weather does occur during the event, an announcement will be made over the PA & FM radio broadcast.

    Sunday’s Schedule:

    Registration & Tech Inspection….. 7:30am - 8:30am (Please don’t be late)

    Preliminary Run/Workorder
    has been set for event #9. The current entry level is allowing us to go to a 4 heat run/work structure. Any changes will be announced at the mandatory 9:00am Drivers Meeting held at the Timing trailer on the day of the event.

    BS, FS, SSR, ASR, ESR, SSP, DSP, STC, STS, STU, DP, SM, BM, FM

    Run 2 / Work 4
    CS, ES, GS, BSR, FSR, ASP, BSP, XP, EP, SMF, CM, FSAE

    Run 3 / Work 1
    SS, DS, HS, CSR, GSR, FSP, STR, BP, FP, SSM, DM, KM, W, CAM, MAM

    Run 4 / Work 2
    AS, DSR, HSR, CSP, ESP, STF, STX, CP, GP, AM, EM, T, X

    Paddock & Grid locations:
    Paddock location for the Bus Lot events is the large parking lot just South of the Bus Lot (corner of Victory Circle & Allison Ave). Grid location will be on the Bus Lot on the Northwest corner. Additional Grid information will be provided at the drivers meeting.


    Live Timing:
    We should have “Live Timing” results uploaded as they are scored throughout the day. You’ll be able to view live results with your smart phone, tablet or computer during the event!

    Despite the significant shrinkage, it was good times! I would like another run at that course in the dry (and warm). Nice job SCCA gang.
