Lexus sc300/400

Anyone ever have an sc300 or sc400? I'm looking g at maybe picking one up for a daily while I finish the miata.
Any good/bad stuff, things to look for and if the inline 6 or v8 is better.
Not looking to modify too much if any, but I do know the 6 is the same as the supra which is stupidly over built from Toyota but don't have much knowledge on the v8.

Yeah I've be looking and those are snatched quick. Would be nice though.
Kinda leaning toward the i6 do to the starter on the v8 being between the heads under the intake mani.
Still throwing around ideas on a 240sx if I can find a decent one.

Lol. It's the 300. Didn't want to deal with ever having to replace a starter on the 400. It's under the intake manifold between the heads.

It's not the starter you have to worry about on those, it's the secondary air injection pumps and solenoids, which are ALSO under the intake, and way more inconvenient and expensive to replace lol
