Default Help looking at a bike in Keller- Sunday night

Hey everyone. Short notice here, but is there anyone available on Sunday night to come look at a motorcycle with me, and possibly transport it to my place in Richardson if a deal is struck? I'm looking to meet the guy around 6.30, but it could be a little later if you need it to be. I can compensate for gas/time.

    Thanks!

I'd be willing to let you keep your car or bike in my garage in North Ft. Worth until you could gather up transport to Richardson.

Pretty much any day but today I could help... Bummer. The world needs more Miata pilots on two wheels. Good luck with your bike search!

Thanks everyone. I might take you up on that, Mick.

I didn't end up going to look at it today. I might try tomorrow after work, I'm just a little reluctant to try to check it out in the dark.

    Good plan.

I made that mistake once, I bought a POS motorcycle that looked pretty good in the dark, but not in the light of day.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

How much was he asking for it? I am trying to sell a 2002 suzuki sv650 for $2k with low miles, new paint job, tires and chain. More power than a 250 but not crazy like an inline 4. It's a v-twin and sounds awesome.

It better not be blue. We don't allow those around here anymore. They've tried to kill two of us, so far...

Thanks, the first one sold. I actually found a different one. It's $1500 for a 2005 with 9700 miles. It looks basically brand new except for a slightly bent handbrake lever from a parked tip-over. I checked it out, and now I'm just waiting for the guy to get the title (he bought it recently from an insurance auction) before I buy it. $1500 is about the pricepoint I was looking at.

Well... so long as it isn't blue. Those things just aren't safe around Miata drivers. I did notice I have a clutch cable for one sitting in my parts bin, though...

And if someone wants to track it, I have an AL race fairing support and half fairing for it. Just been sitting in the garage for a couple of years. Guinness delivered takes it. (fairing support sells used for $100 ...but I'm lazy and like Guinness)
