Thread: Antique Miata!

    Default Antique Miata!

I just picked up antique tags for my 90 today. No inspection at all, emissions or otherwise, and it's a 3 year registration. My insurance should be quite nice too. Restricted mileage/use, but "club activities" and recreational driving are allowed, and I think hpde and autox qualify as both of those. Best part, they only give you one plate, so no issues with not having a front plate!

2 years to go for me. Can't wait. I'll go long tube headers and cat delete at the same time. I get tingly thinking about it!

Can you get personalized antique plates?

Looks like I'm about to follow in your tire tracks. Did you continue with the same insurance provider, or switch to a company that writes "classic" policies?

I'm switching it to a classic provider, probably Hagerty.

State Farm beat everyone when I was looking. The 'lac is less than $30.00 every 6 months.
