We use V-Power at TDR. The Platinum and Iridium are a waste of money.
So is the general belief still that the OEM NGK are the best choice for NA & NB Miatas?
NGK's website shows a few variations are available.

Irridium plugs are standard on many newer cars, including the NC, but are really only useful in the very long lifespan they have. No real reason to put them on an early car in most situations, as they don't offer any advantage. I have also had great luck with the V-power, and they are very consistent when I put them on a meter, unlike some other brands.

V-Powers it is! I put a set in it tonight!
I've done 4 wheel brake job including new rotors, Spark Plugs, Oil Change, New Battery in the car, and even new batteries in the key-less entry fobs. Should be good to go until it comes back from Oklahoma again.
You're a good papa!
