Default Rockauto- Finding what is on closeout for your car

I came across a link on an Acura site that returns a list of all closeout parts for a given car. After a little playing around, I figured out how to get to work for other cars. Here are the closeout parts for a 1993 Miata: http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclef...l=en&html=true

In order to change it to a different year or model car, you need to change the number in the URL that follows "carcode". In the example link above, 1190900 is the code for a 93 Miata. Now finding the code for other cars is a little tricky. I found that if you drill in to any part for the car you want until you see the part descriptions, there is usually an "info" button. Clicking this will open a new window with more info on the part. If you look at the URL of this new window, part of it will include a section that says something like "cc=1387335". That number is your car code to substitute into the original URL. In this example, 1387335 is the car code for a 2002 Miata.

I have all my cars book marked, so I can see if there is anything on closeout that I want to add to an order. There are some great finds in there, like $20.84 for a fuel pump of $6.83 for an O2 sensor.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

They always have crazy cheap brake rotors and caliper rebuilds in the closeout section.

Here's how you can do it for any car.

    1. Browse to any car in the Part Catalog
    2. Click the Orange RSS button
    3. A new window will open
    4. On the right side, under 'Love a Bargain', clicking either the RSS or HTML button will show you all the closeout items

Oooh, clouseout wiper blades for a 2011 Ferrari 458.
