    Smile New guy from Plano

Bought the best car I have ever had on February 10, a 2007 MX-5 with only 57,000 miles (silver color), black interior, soft top. I am retired, and 70 years old, and so far I can't get enough of my new toy. Everywhere I drive I'm smiling! I told my wife & family that I am 70, and my next birthday I'll be 26.

Between the ages of 18 to 30, I was sports car crazy, with subscriptions to Road & Track, Car & Driver, and Sports Car Graphic. In college (Univ. of Alabama), I had an MG sedan, 'cause I couldn't afford a real sports car. Anyway after graduating, I got a job in Mobile, got married, and got a new Triumph Spitfire. About 4 years later, in Orlando, FL we had our first child. I was 25 then. Due to our poor financial situation at that time, I had to sell the Spitfire. Boo Hoo! After that I had several jobs where I traveled a lot, and I needed a big car to haul samples and take customers to lunch, etc. I told myself that I was gonna get another sports car someday.

45 years later, someday is now!

I am one happy guy. Zoom, zoom!

You are never too "young" for a Miata! When will you start tearing it up putting more goodies in it?

Welcome, have fun with your Miata (MX-5). Miata Is Always The Answer. Zoom Zoom.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
