Pretty sure fit with no issues. I would roll the fenders just for fun though.
FWIW I fit 275 with just just rolled fenders and hella flush coilovers![]()
(*Backstory - I wanted to ask a questions on the forum so I selected "new post". Its fun and easy give it a try!)
Thinking about increasing the rim width on the 2002 NB. Currently have a set of 15" x 7" on it now.
So can I safely move up to 9" rims with 225 tires without having to do major suspension and body work to get the wheels to fit in the fenders?
I want more tire on the ground since I use this car for Autocross and other types of Motorsports type activities.

I've seen on the iterwebz where folks say a 9" rim fits an NB with no issues but then ya gotta wonder if they are running a 195 width tire for clearance.
It really comes down to proper offset, but the 6ul 15x9's seem to fit without issue on most. I have them on my lowered NA (fronts are rolled, rears are not) and they are not rubbing, except in full-lock turns up front. With your car at oem ride-height and it being an NB2, I doubt you will have any issues. I am running 225 kooks on it. You are welcome to test-fit with my wheels if you like.

I have a 99 with the fenders rolled and 15x9 6UL and I have no trouble with rubbing on the outside with 225/45/15 NT01's. They do, however, hit the sway bar on the inside when getting close to full lock. Not a problem at the track but could be an issue on a street driven car.
99, MP62, Tien Monoflex, 949/V8 Roadster Control Arms, Wilwood BBK, RB Front sway, Stock Rear Bar, That's the main stuff
I have a couple different 9" with 225s if you want to see how the fit…..No hellaflush offset though.
These are nice and TCB, i like them much better than the TRs

I want to be like the cool 6UL kids but I did see those Jongbloed and was intrigued by the price.
Of course those of you who know me probably already figured I was looking used. I really don't want to dump a ton of money in the car I'll be trading in on a yellow ND.![]()
JCTattoos has some 15x8's for sale if you're skeered of the 9's.
As long as you don't go lower than about a +25 offset 225s will fit with just a roll of the lip. NB'S are more kind in the wheel well department.

Jong's are a killer deal. I'm not sure if the ND will keep the 54.1 center bore (smaller than most other 4x100 vehicles), so keep that in mind. Otherwise, most NA/NB wheels should work on the ND, if the 4x100 info is accurate and the front brake clearance is adequate.

I'm looking for 15x7 to fit the new car. The 15x8 konig wheels I have for sale fit the miata fine with 205. Fits 225 fine depending on height and alignment and fender lips .

Most of the 15x9 sizes with 36 offset can rub on the springs on the front unless Coilovers and will rub a little at full lock on the upper a arm . But the fit well on the outside with enough negative camber
Just needs a bit of camber adjustment.

Don't buy a used set of Kiezer. So long loose wheel.
