In. I finally get to AutoX the Datsun! NomadTrash thinks I'm crazy driving a 50 year old car to an event. We'll see what happens... lucky for me Hagerty has roadside assistance.
You are crazy man.

Great time today. I drove from Frisco, raced, then drove back all without incident. Yea 1960's Japanese reliability!
So, yea, I'm missing several hundred horsepower and all the creature comfort's of Jo-Jo's car, but the main thing that really got to me? No dead-pedal. I wouldn't have guessed that, but man... if you don't have one you realize what a brilliant invention that is.
Well, my car is slow as s**t. I also wouldn't have imagined I'd ever be longing for all that NB horsepower. I'm going to celebrate and stick that dart in my neck now.
h20/r16 hybrid motor is the answer.

You mean that thing doesn't open up jars of caviar and spread a nice even dollop on toast points while uncorking a nice cold bottle of champagne? Time to sell it and buy a Porsche.
I had a good time (except the headache I have now) for not doing an autocross event in a year and a half or so. I went to kill my HPDE tires but only made them smoother

Hot day and a fun course! Barely made it home before the sky opened up and dumped a cooling downpour.
Results?
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
M3 is always the answer.
