Default 1.6 Steering Wheel & Airbag Weight

Anyone have an oem 1.6 steering wheel & airbag assembly laying around that you could weigh? Need info for a proposed rule and it would save me the time of pulling mine off.
    Thanks

I wonder how easy it will be to find a suitable 8.5 lb aftermarket wheel?

Adhesive tire weights....attached to the adapter. Along with the weight of it/bolts and the quick release flange should not pose a problem making the number. Heck we give up 300# or so to the crx

So the rule change passed? You can swap wheels, but it has to weigh the same as OEM?

No it is still under consideration. It was looking promising and then some started griping about weight.

And you can't run in the class unless you were 16 during the year your car was built.

Damn, I would have to drive a 1962 MGA or a Triumph. Anyone remember where to buy that OEM replacement smoke?

this is what I have on my track car

    http://www.amazon.com/Tekniq-Snap-Of.../dp/B006R1X4VS

allows use of horn and Amazon says shipping weight of 2#

and I have their steering wheel too but don't find that available on the web

the adapter fits a 6 bolt 70mm wheel so should be too hard to find one

but weight won't be anywhere near 8.5#
