    They pulled the head and sent it off to a local machine shop to have it checked over...

    I've asked for the compression and leakdown test once it's back on the car as well...

    We'll see...

    UPDATE: Well... I think I dodged a bullet...

    Compression and leak down tests were consistent across all cylinders and while a little low, not bad for a 200K motor...

    New timing belt and water pump installed and it's running great... I think I'll set the replacement interval closer to 70k miles for the next timing belt.

    Great news. The timing belt interval on my Odyssey J35A4 is 105,000 miles. Mine lasted 115,000 before I chickened out and changed it.
