    DAMMIT!

    The "new" alternator's threads are stripped out at the lower mounting bolt. Nobody else has got one in stock, and it's too late to overnight one in time for the weekend. Guess I'm off to Mazda Heaven in the morning.

    Have you tried to give Gary a call? He had a totalled out 99 he was parting out and I believe he may be in the process of getting a second wrecked 99.

    Well, I picked up an alternator from a junkyard in Grand Prarie this morning. The car is back up and running fine, so it looks like I'll make it to the autocross on Sunday!
