Good evening, First time posting here and really need some help. Trying to find a recommended shop that won't screw me over.
Parents bought my son a 91 automatic. 170k miles in relatively good shape. Did some work to it in SC (new timing, catalytic converter, all new hoses/belts etc, new fluids. Runs good no issues. However on the drive from SC apparently something came loose. Making a racket like a heat shield or something along those lines. I had it up on jack stands and found one that had a come loose right off the exhause manifold at the engine. Fixed that one but damn if i cant find the other rattle. Driving me nuts so I know it has be doing the same for him.
Trying to find a good shop that I can take it to and have them fix it. Live in FloMo but anywhere in the DFW area is good to go to.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

Well good news. I took it to Stevan and he diagnosed it but was unable to do the work for me. Turns out it a loose bolts on the Torque Converter. Car is completely different now and my kid isnt embarrassed to drive it now. Life is good.
Awesome, glad to hear you got it squared away.
