    Default Pilot bearing issue

I'm working on a motor that I picked up in a trade, and I'm looking to put it into a car.

Got an issue with the pilot bearing. The new pilot bearing that came with the NA 1.6L clutch kit does not fit the crank.
    The bearing is too small.

Is there a difference in the crank of the motors depending on manual or automatic?

Disappointed, as I was going to install the motor this weekend.

I looked at the old motor and it also has a larger mounting hole for the pilot bearing also.

Now I'm thinking I have a pilot bearing for a 1.8L maybe are they different from 1.6L ?

Thought the Pilot Bearing was the same for 1990-1995.

    Pictures might help.

Heh, I'm thinking in terms of the pilot bearing from LS1 engines, where it's installed in the back of the crank.

The Miata has the pilot installed in the Flywheel :)

    Issue resolved.
