    Default Top install/fix - NB

Long story short, need to drive my Miata for an extended period of time because someone hit my truck the top was on its last leg before I started driving it more often and while it was at work someone decided to slash it.

I ordered a Robbins top with a glass rear (the version with less seams) and while I am fairly mechanical inclined I didn't do well with the install.

The window trim essentially fell apart and needs to be replaced/reinstalled. I would like someone to go over the top install that I did and install the window trim etc.

Anyone know of anyone they would take something like this? I know most don't want to take on someones half finished project. I do have all the parts needed. Assuming they don't say it needs another new top

    Its on an NB.

What side of town are you on? Two places I can think of that may be able to help.

If you fill out your profile that will let us know your location. Then we can better steer you to a shop. That said, if you are in Dallas, check with Track Dog Racing. If you are in the Lewisville area, Ace Miatas and More. If you are in North Fort Worth area, Miata Solutions.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

When was the top purchased?? I went through this same thing a few years ago with Robbins and the old design was flawed on that top leading to early failures so they redesigned it and started selling them under a lifetime warranty. They replaced mine with the updated version at no charge. (Streamline, glass window only as far as I know)

Call them to make sure because they might replace the top for free unless there's a glaring mistake on the install.
Doesn't help your problem with re installation though.

P.S. just for info they had a set number of years warranty on the old design, which I just barely squeezed by. Only the new design is lifetime, and YMMV this was a few years ago, but i'm betting you have the new lifer design.
