A short in the injector harness or injector plugs off the harness? Also check the main plug on the firewall end of the harness.
Hi everyone.
Have a 91 na base that keeps will blow the 30 amp inj fuse everytime i try to replace it.
I have replaced the fuel pump, checked the grounds on the engine (at least what i can see), tried disconneting the main relay and everything i can think of. Same issues.
Car does not need to be cranked or even the key in ignition.
Any suggestions short of taking it to a shop to get fixed.
Thanks
Brian

Was anything done to the car just before you started having this issue??
Had a new top installed 2 weeks before.... but can't see how that would cause anything
Might take a look at the wiring plug for the defroster behind the driver side seatbelt tower. Maybe something was shorted there during the install.

Several threads on the pointy board specific to that fuse blowing. Might look there.
Not yet but plan on spending several hours on it today.
Ok....
Tired of messing with this thing.
Anyone want to make some money. Help me figure out this issue.
Money, food, date with my wife. (Just kidding about that part)
You will have to come to Frisco. Have most tools unless you need aomething specialized.
