Welcome…..I'm in north FtW, by TMS.

Hi all,
33 y/o who began autocrossing a few years back, down in Austin. Car needed a new throw-out bearing and exhaust. Did the work myself ... haven't raced since. I moved to Fort Worth a few months ago, and now that I am settled, I would like to get myself and my car back up to speed (I'm pretty slow, but I have fun). Can't wait to make some friends.
Tidbits about the car:
94' R-package, red, few mods, and many cosmetic flaws
Fat Cat single adjustable shocks, and goodwin cat back exhaust
It runs! It shifts! But it recently developed a loud noise under throttle and sometimes it loses power (exhaust leak? vacuum?). It has several small oil leaks. I've quit driving it until I can find the time and space to diagnose the problem (no garage) ... and until I learn to diagnose the problem. I'm hoping this forum can help, and steer me in the direction of a mechanic who works on track cars (I'll be posting that inquiry in the appropriate section of the forum).
More about me:
Self employed, plays billiards and soccer regularly
Nice to meet you all,
Steven

Contact Stevan Boyd (Rogue on this forum) about your mechanical needs. He is on the Ft Worth side of the metromess, and is one of the best you'll find. Also very reasonable price-wise, unless you're really irritating. :)
Come out to the Equipe Rapide autocross this Sunday if you want to meet the local miata crew. www.autocross.com

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
