So I contacted Meguiars, and they recommended to use their #17 and #10 products. I did, and it didn't work.
Hey there everyone. Im making this thread to see if anyone can give me a recommendation on what product I should use to remove/buff the blurriness out of my window. Back story: I just replaced my soft top vinyl window with a piece of new 40 gauge clear vinyl. When I was adhering the new vinyl on, I regretfully masked off most of the window with masking tape to prevent a accidental glue spill. The next day, I removed all of the masking tape, and it left quite a residue. Ive gotten most of it off by using Goo Gone, then soap and water, and finally Windex. However, the window still shows the outline of where the masking tape was, and in turn has made those areas blurry. Is there a product that any of you have used personally to polish/buff out this type of haziness? It looks as if there is still sticky residue left on the window, but you can't feel it to the touch. Any and all recommendations/help is appreciated. Thanks

The tape glue is now embedded in the plastic. Time to start over, live with it or buy a glass-window top.
