Default Need help - no idle

My son has acquired a 1997. I could borrow it to autoX when there is rain or the Birkin is ill. But... After he had an alarm system removed, which kept it from starting, it drove fine. Then he did not start it for a month. Now it will start, but not idle. Sometimes one can get it to rev up a bit, but inevitably it dies. It shows no code on the borrowed Autozone code checker. Feels like a fuel flow problem. It has a new filter. Oil pressure comes right up on starting. Any electrical link that controls running that would fit the symptoms? Thanks. Gilletto

How dirty is the throttle body? Mass Air Flow Sensor clean? Use the proper chemicals on both yadda yadda yadda.

Side note - You have to have the intake tube hooked up or it will not idle and may not even run. If it is cracked that can also cause issues.

No. Unless you dropped a dorito on it.
