Thread: ER parent waiver

    Default ER parent waiver

I'm planning on going to the ER autocross in mineral wells this Sunday, but my dad doesn't want to drive that far out in my car (ironic considering what he used to drive out there). Anyone know if I can go without him, being 17? This would be my fourth event so I don't entirely NEED his guidance.
    Thanks, Parker Maness

Article 3 part C of the Challenge Cup Rules (pdf document) says the waiver must be presented personally to Registration by the parent or guardian signing the form.

One of the ER guys will likely see your question and provide a decisive answer, if it differs from what's in the rules.

You will need to either have him there with you, or contact Andy Cost (president) to discuss the possibility of prearranging a waiver. I'm not sure our insurance will allow a minor to participate without a parent/guardian on-site anyway, but Andy would be the person to know. You can email him via the www.autocross.com website.

Parent must be present and sign the minor waiver.
