Thread: .223 or 5.56 blanks locally??

Default .223 or 5.56 blanks locally??

I have a golfball launcher attachment for my AR, and i'm going to a friends property this weekend. It uses blanks to propel the golfball, much entertainment. I kept forgetting to buy blanks online for it, now it's too late for shipping. It's a long shot but I know some shooters here. Anyone know where to buy these locally? Cheaperthandirt shows they are not stocked in the FT worth warehouse, smaller gun shops don't list their inventory online so i'm at a loss.

Check with Ken_O...he probably has a few thousand rounds in his desk.

I'd call a good range and ask them for the best place to find them. Maybe a sporting goods store that dells starter pistol stuff?

^Good idea. All the ranges don't open till noon but I got lucky and Rays in downtown has some. Never seen any in a gunshop so I was surprized, course i've never looked either.

Maybe try Military Gun Supply, off 820 in Ft. Worth. They may have some for parade use.

There are also a couple of custom reloaders in the metroplex. They specialize in custom loads for your specific gun, but I bet they could knock out a handful of blanks fairly easily, though they may have a minimum size order.

Talking about how many rounds one has, can result in getting added to a watchlist.
    M3 is always the answer.
