Default Failed timing belt job, Need help!

So I recently bought another miata. It needed the water pump so I'm also doing the timing belt. I have gotten everything back in the car twice now only to be off both times.

First time i got it back in the car ran but i could tell i was off a tooth

second time looked better than the first but the car wouldn't really run at all

Now I'm at a loss. I can't see how i am suppose to move these spring loaded cams that can have many different correct locations

I will pay 100$ + beer + pizza to anyone who can come out and help me get this ****** timing belt done
