    Default Breaking shocks

Broke another shock on my CRV... These are (supposedly) good Bilstein blue/yellow shocks... The back right one broke in February and now the back left broke two days ago... They had been on car less than a year... So far, Bilstein has replaced them under warranty, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard of problems like this..Not looking forward to compressing the spring while still in the car....

The culprit is almost certainly somewhere else. Post another pic when you get it disassembled.

Looks like you are missing the sleeve that goes around that on the OE shocks. Transfer that over on the next set you put on. That limits the amount of tightening you can do on the bushing and prevents some of the binding that is causing your problem. I would also recommend to get the suspension to ride height before tightening the lower bolt.
