Engine Camshaft Plug on an NB

So what is the best method for replacing the Camshaft Plug for those of you who have tackled this task??

I take it you pull the valve cover off and remove the two bolts and slide the new cap in place??

Why remove the VC at all?

Are you talking about the plug that replaces the NA-style CAS?

Not sure about the "Best" method but the "Easiest" method is to call Rogue.

Yep, not sure I can get to it without pulling the valve cover....

Do it the right way, and pull the V/C.

I guess its tighter in there than I remember. I've never swapped one on a vvt motor in the car, as I've not had one that was leaking. I do reseal them whenever I'm doing a VC gasket, but everything is apart anyway at that point. Shouldn't be a big deal for you.
