Thread: 100 octane race gas

    Default 100 octane race gas

Anyone know of a source in FTW area for 5 gallon cans of 100 octane unleaded? Looking specifically for the cans not the oberpriced pump stuff at local tracks.
    Thanks

Smileys has a lot of race gas in stock. Alamo just became a VP dealer as well.

I would generally expect race gas from a pump to be cheaper than from a can. It costs far less to transport gas in a tanker.

I've bought fuel from "Motorsport Sales" on TI near Floyd Circle.

Not a Smiley's in Kenedale or Alamo. Alamo only carries v16 and 85. Found a source in Lincoln for Nats.

I did also. When I had my AC charged on the Suburban at McClain's this summer, I drove by and noticed that it was shut down. Place was cleaned out and being renovated for something else. Bummer; they were nice folks.

I bought unleaded 100 octane E0 from the Harley dealer in Lincoln, reasonable price too.

For local, I make the drive up to Gainseville and get E0 93 octane at the Red River Co-op. Usually the same or cheaper than Quick Trip. That's what I use for all my small engines.

For what it is worth 100 octane pump is $9.69 in Cresson today and $7.89 at HD in Lincoln.

Nope, they have 87 octane no ethanol. 93 is E10 and no 100 but it was worth the look

Have you thought about 100LL av-gas?
