    9th autocross of the year: TX Region SCCA Solo #9 - Sunday, October 23, 2016

    Where? Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, TX.

    Event #9 Schedule:

    •Registration & Tech Inspection: 7:30am - 8:30am (PLEASE DON’T BE LATE)
    (If you are new to TX Region SCCA events, please be AT THE SITE by 7:30am)

    •Course opens: 8:00am (approx.)

    •Novice Walkthru: 8:30am (approx.)

    •MANDATORY Drivers Meeting: 9:00am (approx.)

    •First Runs Start 9:30am (Approx.)

    •Trophies (and BEER ) approx. 30 minutes after conclusion of runs. (approx. 3:30 PM)

    Online Registration closes Friday night, October 21 at 11:59pm.

    **Walk up registrations ARE allowed on site but will be charged an additional $5.

    **CREDIT CARDS CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED ONSITE!!

    Nice course yesterday. That part near the back walked weird but it felt pretty awesome if you slowed down enough. I'd like to thank Ken O and JFo for not showing up.

    Yep, that was the intent. You had to be patient.

    I finally figured out the patience requirement and had a really good final run going, until I entered turn 4. When I came off the gas, my foot caught the brake pedal, causing me to fumble through the turn, pick up a couple cones and some time.

    Oh well, it's been a really great season and I look forward to the last couple of events and an even better next year.

    Thanks to all the local Autoxers that are so patient and helpful to us newbies!

    Sorry I missed this last one. Looked like a fun course. Had a great time with Texas SCCA this year though !
